I remember reading The Martian and absolutely loving it, I was hooked on Weir's writing and drawn it. But right now I find it so distracting. And I realized his writing is too much like my own thinking it's too over-analytic and full of random ADHD bursts. This isn't necessarily bad, just distracting so far. I'm kind of in a weird head space too, so that could be it as well.
