Perhaps I should have started with refreshing my art knowledge and vocabulary before deep-diving into such a theoretical piece, but it is what it is. I'm joyous to notice that my knowledge *is* slowly creeping back, though, lol.

Also:

The prefaces and the introduction have already raised countless interesting questions and problems. I'm afraid I do not possess enough argumentative prowess to fully understand and comprehend what is about to come, but it is proving to be a joyful and informative read nonetheless.
