Yes, I also do not love age gaps like these ones where the one character basically watched the other grow up and the whole Daddy/little girl thing is weird to me but Elliot Monroe is actually terrible. You don't say things like that to your child regardless of how you feel. Have your feelings/be disappointed but watch how you use your words for the love of God.
