The narrator’s voice isn’t my favorite.
The beginning feels stereotypical and I’m not a fan of the MC’s friend or parent.
They get to the mail order bride part quickly after a social scandal ruins MC’s reputation.
It does remind me of 7 brides for 7 brothers so I hope it plays out along those lines.
