Remy and her family are celebrating Christmas and her mother is making her king, Someone from Remy's driver Ed class was supposed to win a reward from Mr. Thompson but he didn't give any out.

Remy Mom is telling her when she gets her drivers license she is going to fear for her safety because she doesn't trust her. Remy was playing jv basketball, but months later she quit playing because she wanted to focus on driving. (116-120)

The main character is Remy. She is in her teens and she has a boyfriend whom they have been together for almost 7 months. She is very sympathetic, but she has been kind of worried that her boyfriend has been cheating on her. She thinks that since they don’t really spend time together she thinks someone else has her boyfriend's attention.

The conflict has developed by Remy and Morgan is starting to talk less and less now, and Morgan is kind of setting his eyes on someone else which makes Remy really mad. She confronts the girl who has been flirting with Morgan and she starts to shout at the girl, and Morgan comes and sees what's going on, he really didn't like what Remy has done which leads them to getting in a real bad argument.

Remy drivers teacher is finally letting them drive on their own without him being in the car. Morgan wins that best driving awards for driving the best, and Remy became second because she swirved just a little bit

One of Remy's close friend is trying to flirt with her boyfriend, by asking him what he is getting her for Christmas. But Morgan denies that he is not getting anything for anybody except for Remy.

Remy is going into thanksgiving which her grandmother doesn't remember none of her grandchildren, over time she finally remembers her grandchildren by them telling her their names. A man wife has gotten killed and they finally caught the killer. The husband had a few words to say to the killer who killed his wife.

Remy and her family are preparing for a funeral, in which Remy is taking a long time to get ready, but her mother is yelling at her to hurry up and get in the car. Remy is kind of scared but she does it anyway, her little brother is a dusy he doesn't like sitting in the car seat but Remy forces him to. Then traffic started to hit as soon as Remy's mother got on the highway, while her day couldn't get any worse.

Remy is taking to her mother about how she doesn't want her new baby brother to be like her older brother Mac. She has been sitting on the couch waiting for her crush to text her back but he hasn't, but 30 minutes later he finally had the courage to ask her out and work his way up to talking to her, Remy was very excited about this, and she has been wanting them to get together for a really long time.
