i like it so far. it’s a very engaging read. kinda confused about the cover bc the book clearly states that miriam and mya are lightskin. i guess it shouldn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, but idk i feel it should reflect the details. also, i kinda wish the chapters were written in first person POV for everyone — not just joan.
