Really enjoying this book so far! I'm doing the audiobook alongside the actual physical book, and the narration is great for some of the Texan dialogue. One of my favorite aspects so far is the use of the "slasher" tropes and how Jones incorporates those into the narrative. I was not expecting some of the events that happened in the first chapter, and I'm very curious to see where they lead in the plot.
