Glad I’m trying this book again. Enjoying it now that my nervous system isn’t fried and I have a better attention span.

I’m unsettled by Mahit’s choice to put on the same pair of underwear after showering because she thought the underwear she was wearing for hours before, during and after surviving a [SPOILER] were a better choice than a clean pair of someone else’s underwear, simply by virtue of being *her* underwear. Otherwise, some engaging world-building.
