Wray keeps skipping over the actually interesting parts of the book with the excuse of Kip (main character) essentially blacking out during intense moments. Bitch i wanted to read about an actual fight. Makes the story feel choppy and disconnected. I dislike how many male authors utilize the “you get the idea” writing style. :/
