oh my wow so much happened it is so fast paced and absolutely delicious, it went in depth on some stuff and I was not expecting it to describe....and the gore was suuuper vivid as well, but honestly I have loved every minute of it!!!!! I don't know how they are supposed to complete up to 3 more trials in just over 100 pages but ugh I just want them all to be happy

Woah. Everything got extremely deep and the whole thing entered a huge moral and political dilemma so fast I got whiplash. The religious themes tied in with corruption and faith in all different walks of life are just remarkable. I wasn’t expecting such profound discussions in this book but im loving it

So so so so hooked oh my god the TENSION and the characters all hating each other/all kind of being attracted to each other hits like insane drugs i cant believe i only get 260 more pages i will have to buy the next book immediately

Oh I am so invested, I love Leo and Cassius. The tension is AMAZING and I love that there is some silliness and a whole lot of foreboding stress. I love love love the characters so much and the world building is really fascinating I didn't even blink at my 50 page assessment rule I just kept going. I have really high hopes for this book

inciting incident has occurred, I am at the beginning of chapter four, I love Cassius dearly already and I am ready to meet more characters if they are all written as splendidly as he is. The stakes are definitely high but I have high hopes for the book
