Cass is finally off this island, and this is where the drama starts...I'm excited to see how Ran will make it up to her because I'm all for the whole begging-for-forgiveness shebam. I hope Austin gets whats coming to him, that rat. And I'm still confused as to how Cass is IN LOVE with Ran?? It's been a few weeks at best...you guys have barely interacted...I'm very confused.

I'm not very sure how to feel about Austin, he's written off as an irredeemable arse and he's just giving off middle school bully vibes. Actually, this entire novel is giving middle school vibes. Why is Cass so obsessed with a guy she barely knows? I'd understand a crush of course but like- y'all have barely interacted outside of working and you're crying over this man?

Picked this up because I need a light read to get me through the intense mental gymnastics of law school. Ranulph introduced on the second page? A little abrupt in my opinion, as usually there's a little bit of exposition before the love interest comes in like a brilliant deus ex machina. He seems nice so far though, a little bland, but nice. I'm hoping to see some character depth on him soon (it has to happen).
