It’s crazy right now because she is currently going to the only white school that was segregated before the nine started going there. There’s always a mob trying to get them. The mob calls them racial slurs and if they catch the nine or one of the nine they will kill them.

The book is really good, but I have one question though, why did Marissa put her name as one of the candidates if she knew that it would put her family in danger?
