Sunny’s Reviews > Not the End of the World: How We Can Be the First Generation to Build a Sustainable Planet > Status Update

I'm abandoning this book. Read Jason Hickel or Naomi Klein instead. Ritchie's messages are misleading. The biggest red flags: when she touted the virtues of Hans Rosling's Factfulness, and then claimed degrowth is not a viable solution. Not addressing our capitalist system/overconsumption means she's advocating for the status quo at this point, which is wrong and harmful. No wonder Bill Gates loved this book. Bye.
