it is so obvious an american wrote this book set in london. the slang is off or lack of slang? the banter between the guys is bad. saying chips even though she meant crisps. white men in london do not say period. you’re not saying bugger off if you’re in your 20s and nobody says ‘bloody’ that much either. had scarlett saying the most english phrases ever that just aren’t that common
