Oh goody. Now someone’s trying to kill Erica.

It’s been 163 pages of Erica rearranging, cleaning, tidying, re-rearranging, mopping down, measuring out, adjusting, readjusting, generally making a complete butt of herself, and she FINALLY admits “her OCD did make her behave oddly”. I’m about to punch this woman.

“And what about you? You were there the night Grandma died. Who’s investigating the investigator?” FINALLY someone asking the real questions. Gosh I can’t stand Erica.

Shaun is annoyingly perfect. One day he’s super insecure and the next day he’s running a multimillion dollar business like a pro. Kristen yells at him once bc he doesn’t want to find his drug addict mom who abandoned him as a kid and now all of a sudden he’s like “I’m ready to forgive and heal from my trauma”. Ugh. I hope he’s the killer.

Goodness is anyone in this book likable

Not Erica whining bc the cops won’t take her PI badge seriously and insisting she won’t interfere with the investigation and then proceeding to lie to a detective to get him to help her even tho his boss just thru her out of the precinct

At this moment, I’m team Trent. As in I hope he killed gramma Blanche bc he’s the only character in this book with a lick of sense.

I finally have this ridiculous family tree figured out. I think.

It’s hard to care that someone might have been murdered when they die on page 12 and all we know is 1. She’s a gramma, 2. Everyone love love loves her 3. She was mild sus about someone or something and presumably that’s why she croaked
