it only took 300 pages for J to actually talk about what happened??????? I don't know if the days are slower in this book, but for me it seemed like they spent soooo much time together and yet they didn't address the elephant in the room, which was so important????????? If I were L I wouldn't have let him see M before knowing what actually made him leave or if he was going to stay. I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT HIM.
