calling it now, lottie is an ash witch (kinda knew that from the beginning tbh) and her and marigold are soulmates and they’re going to fix the curse with the power of true love and friendship. the world building & character development are quite good (especially for a debut novel) i just wish this book didn’t pander so hard to the booktok crowd. it’s feels a little try hard-ey
