* The writing is some times funny, but some times also a bit cluncky.
* I love the wordbuilding. The Golems, the clacksmen system and the Postal service. A mystery with some noirish elements.
*Moist von Lipwig is a great character as smart swindler whose interaction with Mr. Pump is the heart opf the book so far> The dictator who appears to be force for good. I like how elements of the Genre are being subverted.
