I'm loving this book so far. As someone who grew up in the Vineyard, I've gotten more than one quizzical look in reaction to where my spiritual path has led, and I've been on the lookout for helps such as this in articulating why the ancient faith and practice of the catholic tradition means so much to me.

Hey Cody! Yeah I'm almost done with it. You should read it! No, I haven't read George Macdonald. Is he any good? How are you??
Sounds interesting! George Macdonal is amazing thus far. C.S. Lewis referred to him as his master. His writings are Victorian, but the effort is miniscule compared to the gain! If you're a fan of Lewis I'd give him a try. And I'm doing extremely well at the moment! I'm in backgrounds for a firefighter position; prayerfully waiting on that. I work as a paid cadet for Ventura City Fire Dept right now though. How are you? Finishing up seminary? Are you EVER gonna be done with school?? :P
I finished my MA in July, actually, but I'll be going back for a doctorate at some point... lol. Glad you're doing well! Let me know what you think of that book if you read it!
