Another thing that I find relatable to my own situation. You try to feel something but no matter what you can't. The definitions breaking up the novel is good too but man. It's so bad that society pressures into social norms. Uni and drinking is one of the many pressures made. I love though that Rebbeca is deconstructing that by sharing her experience that's not all exclusively an Autistic Ace feeling.

Ooop it's a shame Neil Gaiman turned out to be a spinless douchebag because it's good that Good Omens helped the Ace Community feel scene in such a sex obsessed culture. It's also interesting to see Rebbeca further develop in her uni years before coming to the realisation that she's Ace. The words also hit hard as they've how I've felt sometimes. Honestly how ever you discover your Asexual it's very satisfying.

Again love the definitions for newbies as it clarifies so much. Also you can really feel how being both Ace and Autistic intersects with the pressure Rebecca feels over fitting in. 1: The UK definitely has terrible sex education as people shouldn't be turning to movies and shows to learn about it. Worse my classmates were talking about romance in Primary school. But it's so relatable being a nerd

Man 23 pages in and I already know this is gonna rip my heart out. I had no proper idea Rebecca was Autistic and find it really cool representation. High School really is a pit of hell. It sucks that she got bullied for her very normal Autistic traits. I wonder how her classmates will feel looking at this Memoir. Another thing I love is the definitions cos it's useful for people unfamiliar with the ace community.
