So far I’m feeling like a lot of low ratings this book has are because it’s sold as a romance and there’s not any romance thus far. It’s a slow burn in both romance and plot, but the world-building that’s taking place is intriguing. This author can definitely write well, if the story progresses and the ending is good, I could easily see myself giving this a 4.5 stars or maybe even 5.
