Idk if I’m feeling this. It reads like a Disney/Hallmark movie (w/ all the Christian undertones that implies).
A woman runs away from the city (which is literally burning down b/c evil bad city) to return to her childhood home in the country (which the city has partially destroyed) to find a big, strong, hot man she knew in childhood & is annoyed by everything he does. & she has a quippy sentient plant sidekick.
