I know I'm not the biggest romance fan, so maybe I'm just being too critical...but I have to roll my eyes at the "love at first sight" in the context of this... Shesheshen is just going to fall for the first human that's even remotely nice to her, no build up whatsoever? Why am I supposed to care for Homily, she's barely had any character building; why should Shesheshen even care and not doubt that kindness at all?

Powering through this because I've gotten this far......but MAN, how is there still 20% left. All the supposed antagonists are so laughably incompetent or cartoonish that it's impossible to take any of the stakes seriously
