Barely halfway through and it's so depressing and sad already. I love the writing style so much, though, expect nothing less from a Laufey Book Club recommended book.

Everyone is so interconnected, and Maggie O'Farrell's writing style is so perfect, I'd swoon amidst all the description of cattle and mud and filth—which I hate—and I hate that it's set in 1500s Britain so much ugh
