Yeah, this bit is exactly what I remember bothering me abt the other two books, just repeating stuff the reader knows again to tell it to new characters. I wonder if I’m remembering the first book more fondly than if I actually re-read it.. bc if noticed this in all 3 after

Ok, I am gonna finish this book I think bc I’m curious abt eurion, but I do feel with each book by this author I’ve read that perhaps maybe her writing style just isn’t for me.

Ok I’m sorry but one of my number one pet peeves IN THE WORLD is ppl telling stories abt their parents and just calling them ‘mom’ or ‘dad’ as they are also your parent. Say MY MOM__, or MY DAD__

ITS NOT THAT HARD TO ADD ONE WORD!!!
