I liked this short book, selected almost randomly at the library. Lots of literary references and theory. A good plot and tension. A retired teacher becomes involved again with his pretty awful school. There’s skullduggery, NAPLAN tests, mining magnates and lovely descriptions of Wallaga Lake.
