When the Japanese found out that The U.S had already Bombed everything they left the place as fast as they could because they didn't want the blame to be on them because what they wanted to do was already done so they did not want to get involved in the chaos so they left and they tried to blame it on the U.S but they kept on Denying it ever happened.

All the prisoners had to sign a document ,promising to keep the Information Secret. They had many other POWs who did not want to talk about their experiences because it was too painful for them to explain and to retell the whole story that they had to face this affected the soldiers really painfully and emotionally because they didn't want to share their experiences that were the worst part of their life.
