Susannah asks Pilar to give documents about Anita to the police but she refuses Billy's been stabbed EMTs treated him Susannah learns Billy was involved with Anita suspects his infidelity Colin is arrested Susannah goes to get Bitsy more pies realizes she's leaving but bumps into Billy who forces her to take poison and reveals his motives now he's kidnapped her to a second location.

Susannah returns from a horse ride to find Detective Withers, leading to a heated discussion. She fails at making peach cobbler and bumps into Officer Randy at the supermarket, sharing her thoughts on the investigation. Susannah visits Anita’s mother Pilar, learns more about Anita’s life, and finds a letter revealing her whereabouts before the murder, setting Susannah free from accusations.

Susannah is freed and updates Bitsy on her interrogation. During dinner, Roman argues with Bitsy over his uncertainty. Susannah learns more about Tina’s condition and the investigation. At a meeting, she overhears info about Billy and Anita, and suspects Billy. Back at the barn, she gathers more from Fiona and starts enjoying horse rides.
