I'm liking this series very much. The previous book was written in the mid 50s and this one written in the early 80s. I'm wondering if it would have been different if it had been written in the 50s. While it seems, to me, that the sexual content is a bit more than the previous novel; nevertheless, this could be due to the fact that the setting of the previous novel was quite parochial - sexually speaking.
