Really, at this point, just reading to figure out whether or not I should keep or sell off the collection of Dresden books a friend gave me in Jan. this year. So far, I haven't read anything to convince me to hold on to them, but we'll see.

Veerinder If you're not enjoying the ride, you should quit while you're ahead, homie. It's more or less the same the rest of the way.

My sister got my the 10th book of the series, but either of us knew (we both have made this mistake a lot when we were younger lol) and I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. Being the 10th of the series, the world and plot was a lot more fleshed out.

Going back and reading the first 5 books, they did...not hold up. Maybe it gets better? I'm not sure. I'm tempted to reread the 10th book again.

Anywho, you should sell them!

Meg Haha. Thanks for the advice Vee. It almost felt like things were starting to turn around with this book, there was a bit more intrigue, but in the end it did mostly seem like the same old same old mediocre plot.

I think you might be right and I should probably quit while I'm ahead. I have one last book in the collection I got from my friend, I'll probably finish that, then call it quits. Definitely not going to go out of my way to continue the series.

And, I have mixed feelings when it comes to rereading books that I loved when I was younger, especially if I'm suspicious they may not hold up. Some books are better cherished in ones memory. Ha.
