Right now in the memior they are still describing the bombing and survival rate of people, including the survival rate of the rescue crews. After the bombing Louie and his crew had to go out and find a crew that is near a Japanese controlled area, I am assuming that Louie and his crew will be found by the Japanese and be taken in as POWs.

When Louie was brought to the unknown location that was known as "execution island" was a on edge. Knowing that he survived because the story is being told I am curious to read about what he went through. Then when Louie was brought into the room and he saw Jimmie I thought that he was going to have an easier time than the other POWs, I was wrong, he was treated the same.

After the last update more information about Louie's experiences in WWII has been stated. Along with Louie's experiences lots of stories about the crashes and the survival rate of the crashes was stated which became very repetitive and boring. However, when they talked about Louie's friends experiences it showed how hard it was when fighting, additionally, the price of life was cheap during the war.

I have enjoyed the meior so far, I can connect to it because I am a track athlete and the records Zamperini set amaze me. Additionally, this year I have read multiple books were the WWII was a primary event and the setting was based around it, therefore, reading about how different cultures and countries reacted to WWII is interesting.
