Lucy just Flora Bora Slammed in a way that would make Sam of Wilds so ridiculously proud!!! That Easter egg landed strong.

Loved that moment so so much -- made me tear up! And send an email to TJ Klune that I'm sure just disappeared into the ether, lol.

I've laughed a lot but lord do I find the themes in this one stressful. I can't rightly say that I've 100% "enjoyed" this experience. I really struggle with injustice and the kinds of hateful characters that Marblemew and Rowder represent. My anxiety levels have been too high throughout to think of this as fun, regardless of how hilarious and insightful these iconic kids are.
That’s entirely valid! I definitely struggled with the blatant hatred throughout, but I just loved how the children responded to everything thrown their way. It was such a lovely thing to see their strength and unity and love for each other. Made the difficult themes worth it to me.

I love how they each shine in their own ways. Sal, particularly, has really stepped up in this one. He plays such a grounding role. Possibly the heart of the story for me. I also love that this was told through Arthur's POV this time!!! I didn't expect it, but I appreciated it greatly.
Completely agree! Sal was absolutely everything in this for me!! I just adored seeing how much he blossomed and what an amazing big brother and protector he’s become. 🥰 And I really liked Arthur’s perspective this time as well. He was much more vulnerable and conflicted than he let on in the first one. I liked getting to see that side of him. Lucy was a favorite as well. I feel like he’s just as protective of his siblings, and I love how he just sort of takes everyone being a family as a given. It’s just how it should be to him and he never questions it. Gah! These kids will stick with me for a long time! 💕

And if so, do we think Sal will be the protagonist next time? I’m sort of hoping so, considering the POV focus has already shifted from Linus to Arthur here. Wouldn’t it be awesome if there was more AND it was through one of the kids POVs?!? I’d be all over it.
Oh, damn! I would LOVE a book from Sal’s perspective!! That would make me insanely happy! Anything to have more of this family! 🥰
Can’t you just imagine it, Nina!?! A book set a few years on, Sal is of age and helping Arthur run the place! New (old) threats arise and in among the good fight he falls in love. Yep. This is the book I need next. 😂
