I haven't read a book so quickly in a long time. Very easy read - great for anybody who isn't used to nonfiction. There are so many similarities between modern day North Korea and China under Mao. Everything from repressive sexual cultural norms to mass starvation (because collective farms don't work) to cultish religious worship of the leader to widespread corruption and deception (of both yourself and others).
