Rhys chose to tell a story featuring A LOT of PTSD and homophobia (some transphobia too) but I don’t think they understand anything about those three things. It seems like they had great intentions but failed to consult a therapist on this. It all seems very messy

I love the genderqueer representation with Scarlet’s character but I’m disappointed in how Rhys even after referring to Scarlet as her would still say she’s “a man beneath the dress.” There are other moments of misgendering Scarlet that give me the serious ick
