I'm gonna finish reading this and then come back to it. I'm going to try and read the New 52 in order as told on a website, haha. This is going to be beautiful, I had no idea this was all connected to one huge universe.

I'm having so much fun reading this. I feel like.. I'm missing out on a storyline involving Superman killing a man, but I don't know how to find the connecting story.

Billy is a smart kid. I love that John says it's pain to have Shazam's power within him.

I have no idea.. what the hell is happening. I went into this comic completely blind without knowing any of the lore.

Constantine switched Billy's voice with his own, and now he has Batson's🥲🥲🥲

John is definitely.. a man to mess with. Is it wrong to like him 😂😂😂 he's so powerful and emotionally distant and doesn't know how to take social cues in regular situations.

John did what he needed to do. He blinded Croydon's illegitimate son because his eyes were the lens that was needed to complete the compass.

Now he has a Spectre on his butt about his soul. Now we're moving on after he made a deal with the Butcher to get him out of Limbo. It was fun.

Maybe I wasn't paying attention before, but I finally know what the compass can do once assembled. Locating any mystic in the world. Does this mean anyone who uses magic? Or is it in the same realm of magic?

I'm sorry, but John is actually such a sweet prick, lol. Can I say that? Am I allowed to? This is my first comic of Constantine.

He can talk his way out of things, joke at horrible times, sacrifice people who come to him for help foe the "greater good" because he doesn't mind the debt as long as he's close to the top? Right? Am I right to assume that?

And he's pretty, a bonus for his accent.

The artwork is crisp af. I didn't think this would be my thing, but it is. John is so anti-hero, while being.. I'm not sure.. menacing? His crazy blue eyes are memorable.

We met his buddy Chris, who's having trouble with magic and is able to locate something made by Croyton? Don't quote me.

Cause and effect, and he just does the effect with no cause. But there's a price for that. Ooooooof. Beautiful.
