11 volumes in and now we have the story summary page(s) (called 'monster chronicle' like it's some newspaper tabloid,, is that phrase redundant?) ; the crossdressing scene happens here ! except it's a little different from the anime i think. didn't know it was suk that johan was on that date with. the crossdressing scene was actually the reason why i decided to read this series to begin with (had to know the context)
