forgot to add: johan’s probable dad (book author) was a neurosurgeon,,, ah he’ll nah he’s got daddy issues and he’s been projecting them onto tenma this entire time

also these ‘monster chronicle’ posters are damn near incomprehensible because not only is it mostly outdated information but my god i can not read this arrows (but now i know that lunge’s chasing after johan ?! but of course he must still suspect tenma since he’s obsessed with him or whatever)

endch8 ; johan still up to his traumatising children schtick (what a bastard; still love him) ; starting to like grimmer ; we’re in prague to find johan’s mom but it seems like we’re closer to finding his dad (author) ; kinda annoyed that it feels like we’ve hardly learned anything about the mom when it was alluded we would in the next vol in vol9 ; tenma apprehended is eva happy or upset

lunge on the cover,, oyo ,,,,, except i can hardly see him on the cover of my version; the colours are way darker (title is dark silver and lunge's face is more obscured by darkness) ; seems like lunge's getting closer to finding out the truth about johan and believing in tenma's innocence? at least i hope that's where it's headed or else lunge really is stupid
