Seeing these characters intersect have definitely given the story even more depth and life! We are getting to the heart of the conflict and we are moving! I’m so enthralled by this world! Who knew aqueducts would be so interesting lol 😂

Sooo many characters and perspectives! We have not quite yet answered how the magic system works. But the political intrigue and the secrets are starting to show. I hope things will become clearer in the coming chapters now that we’re almost halfway through

Okay we are getting hints of past lives? Or what is it? Because I AM feeling LOTS of things!

Loooots of characters are being introduced but I really love our main FMC, Sage! She is no weakling!

I do not know what to expect in this book but I am so intrigued it hurts my heart that I can’t just read this all day long
