This book is so worthless that it has been hailed as masterly by Stephen King.

After Pop. 1280, I thought the world of this guy. My opinion of him has fallen very far. Very, very far. This would be a lousy book even if it was written by a teenager, but written by a 36-year-old man? It's more than disappointing; it's damning.

Unless you like James Joyce-style stream-of-stupidness, skip Chapter 18. I tried to read it, but I soon started just paging through as fast as my Kindle would let me. I shoulda known as soon as I saw a whole page in italics. I almost bailed. This thing is getting worse and worse. I think a fair bit of Tarmac McInconsistency was inspired by this.

I simply cannot believe there's anyone out there over the age of 12 who hasn't had his fill of Poor Ol' Underdog stories.

This is degenerating into a my-kooky-family-lol style thing.

Liam Is it that bad?! I've read his most well known ones. Got the rest to work my way through.

It barely qualifies as a novel. If it weren't that there are even worse ones, it wouldn't.

The first time I read it, I liked it ... again, because of the content: aircraft factories are interesting.

Liam You got a favourite out of aircraft factories and pipelines?

Freddie the Know-it-all No, I don’t.

Liam Too tough to pick one over the other?

Freddie the Know-it-all You know how these novelists are, no imagination. If it’s not murder, it’s pipelines and airplane factories. Sometimes it’s gay pipelines and factories, but those won’t be back in season till June.
