In a time where romantasy and enemies turned lovers are so prevalent, this just didn’t hit the mark. The story seemed a little choppy, random “reveals” that seemed to come from nowhere, and lots of cheesy romance. It wasn’t awful, but I’m also not dying to read the next 🤷‍♀️
