Finally warming up to this book, in fact so much so that I have to read a few pages at bed time. I guess initially I could not feel for with the main character , esp. her dislike of anything hippy or unconventional. Am now getting to appreciate the child's need for order and predictability, plus Abbie Ross has a wonderful sense of humour!
