hows d book....i haven't seen the movie either so...help

At first it appeared to be just another love story...girl loved boy; boy loved girl but didn't convey their feelings and became friends instead. Girl thought happily ever after or never and boy thought she deserved better. They lived their own life at least they tried to live. And through the highs and lows of their life they remained friends. For a long time…unusually long time they remained best friends. And finally when they end up being together something happened. There were moments like: if he had sent that letter or if she had received that phone call they would have become a happy couple much earlier or would they? Author explored the relationships at a much deeper lever. It’s not just another love story after all… It’s a nice read :)
