I read the remnant chronicles series first which takes place before this duology starts and loved it and would highly recommend reading it before started dance of thieves. Dance of thieves was good, didn’t love it as much as the remnant chronicles series but still was into it, this one was a really slow start for me but I’m about 40% into it and it’s getting more interesting now
