She did her interview with Mandy. I think she did well. She finally let more of her emotions out.

There is some reference to a phallus but it’s nothing explicit. A bit of a dirty joke, but unintentional.

Vas is learning how to deal with the death of her mother and her father being a bit absent. She thinks that getting the party planning internship at Mandy’s? Will help her deal with everything and make her family better. She’s the youngest child but it feels like she’s the oldest. She has a talent for art/drawing and watercolor but she hides it. She doesn’t really do watercolor since her mom’s death.

There’s humor and relatable Latino situations. There was a part where unfortunately Angie said that her abuela didn’t want the party outside so she doesn’t get more darker which is unfortunately internalized racism in the Latino community.
