How do you like it so far, Jenn?

Um, it's hard to say, but I'll to explain. Ok, so the first in the series got majorly pimped to me with all these 5 star ratings. I started reading it, loved it, and about 60% it went way downhill to a 3 star. B/c of that I didn't really want to start this one, but I had bought all 3 in series that were out at same time.

Started this one, and it starts off really cheesy. Gay cop in lust with his straight playboy best friend who is also a cop. One of them gets injured, and through the injury the other gives him handjobs. Immediately afterwards there is no discussion bc both feel so awkward thinking the other one isn't gay. I mean really??? Then, the gay one has a friend with benefits an hour and a half away. The two MC's are having problems shoe goes to visit his FWB. They proceed to have about 40 pages of different varieties of detailed, passionate sex. The FWB is a good guy and admits he's been in love with MC for years. This makes the MC feel guilty bc he doesnt love him blah, blah. Then, we have the gfy's crazy female ex. She's so hateful and over the top it's laughable.

That being said all of this is a damn shame bc there is a lot in this that is really, really wonderful. Maybe if you can go with the flow it's a good book.

OMG. That plot is kinda hilarious. Is the sex hot at least? I enjoyed those parts a lot in the first installment.

Yeah, it is. Too bad Its mostly with the FWB. I'm at 92% and the MC's haven't had sex yet. Lots and lots of kissing, handjobs, and blowjobs, but the gfy one hasn't been brave enough to take that step. They are about to.
