I'm making up page numbers because I'm reading Proslogion first (and diff edition). Anyway. My memory of Proslogion from high school was that it was rather dry and dense and I just read Ch. 1 and it's an ardent, Augustine-reminiscent prayer of the soul to God woven through with phrases from the Psalms. This is why I re-read, lol. Whatever heavy duty intellectual work is going on, it isn't impersonal and dull.
