With the comparison to Song of Achilles I’m reading the book through that lense and I feel like this book has the potential to be better than SOA (I have a few problems with that book as time goes on)

So far I find the writing a bit confusing at some points but I like it. I like the depth it goes into the day to day lives and their bond. Also the talk of hearing and not hearing gods intrigues me.
