Forcing myself to keep going.

Words cannot describe how much I hate these Shallan chapters.

Challenge: stay awake while reading a Shallan chapter. Barely anything interesting happens, yet again…

I am here yet again to complain about Shallan.

(Almost) every Shallan chapter just stops all momentum. It’s such a weird pacing issue. I understand her story is necessary and probably has good payoff but I can’t help but be extremely bored and let down whenever it switches to her.

Man these interludes suck big time. Way to grind the story to a halt.

This has gotten much better now that Shallan is in it less.

I do not like Shallan.
