didn’t finish reading this one and probably won’t pick it up again. I’m proud of trying a new genre but it didn’t really leave me hooked and once I put it down, it felt like a chore to pick it back up again.

This just in, I had to google if anything happy-ANYTHING AT ALL-happened in the 1800’s. The answer is no.
