She wants to show us how she feels about the death penalty and fight for the rights of those on death row. She shows how unnecessary the death penalty is and just how much simpler it is to sentence someone to life in high security instead

As she was working on being a spiritual advisor again, she learned about the disturbing story of the crime that she was working with. After all of this, it seems as if everything must come to an end, however, you can't get read of the death penalty without a good reason and this murder doesn't help.

I like how she's going all out to stop executions in Louisiana but she's not showing her emotion as she goes through and fights for the lives of death row inmates.

Pat wasn't said by the governor and he is now facing execution. He dies and everything comes together when Eddie comments "Now I have killed three people" admitting that he'd been the one that killed the kids.

They are pushing harder and harder to keep Pat alive but it's not working out. Every court that could've stopped the execution has denied the appeal and all that is left is for the governor to stop the execution. The book has been really good and is bringing a ton of suspense into play.

They are working on getting Pat's death penalty sentence appealed, but everywhere they've gone, it hasn't ended well.

Helen becomes a spiritual advisor for Pat as he gets the death sentence two separate times. She is going threw the process and wants to maybe get in person contact with Pat. She really wants to know what had happened to see if the death penalty was the right sentence.

I will keep reading this book. It will be interesting to see what living on death row is like.
